Kamala Appel wrote The Keys To The CASTLE (College Admissions Secrets and Tips to Look Exceptional) to help odd balls like her write about their unique story in a way that helps them get in to the right college for them. Her feedback is based on her experiences as an undergrad and diversity recruiter at Yale University; and as a grad student and teaching assistant who reported directly to the Associate Dean at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts (formerly CNTV).
